We are pleased to present the first issue of Volume 35 of Riset Geologi dan Pertambangan, featuring five research articles on seismic hazards, tectonic geomorphology, and granite mineralogy. Hermawan et al. analyze Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) distribution in Central Java using Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis and highlight the need for improved earthquake mitigation. Fahrezi et al. evaluate seismic risks in the Bengkulu area through seismic response analysis. Maryudhaningrum et al. study the impact of groundwater extraction and natural consolidation on land subsidence in the Bandung Basin. Faturrakhman et al. identify hydrogen exploration targets in Central Sulawesi by analyzing tectonic geomorphology and active faults. Lastly, Elly et al. present new petrographic and X-ray diffraction data from Hukurila granite to deepen understanding of granite formation in Ambon. We thank all contributors and invite further scientific submissions for upcoming issues.
